This years Ireland & UK Moodlemoot 2012 was organised by LTS (Gavin Henrick) in partnership with Dublin City University.

Learning Technology Services is an information technology and training company providing a range of specialist services and support for a range of Open Source solutions.

The company was founded in 2011 by Gavin Henrick to meet the needs of clients throughout a range of sectors through provision of consulting and training services to support open source project implementations.

Gavin has worked with technology in business, learning and development for over 10 years. He has been working with Moodle, Mahara, DSpace and other open-source applications for the last 5 years. Most recently Gavin worked with Moodle partners in Ireland (Enovation Solutions) and Canada/USA (Remote-Learner) where he gained valuable experience in Moodle and related technology solutions.

Through the new company, Gavin currently works primarily on supporting organisations with e-learning projects including Moodle 2 rollouts and upgrade strategies.

Gavin recently co-authored the book for Moodle 2.0 for Business Beginner’s Guide with Jason Cole and Jeanne Cole. This was published by Packt Publishing in May 2011. Since then he has published a number of white papers on Moodle 2 Repositories and Moodle 2 Themes through his blog.

He is a regular speaker at a number of Moodlemoots and conferences on the use of Moodle focusing on practical examples of usage.
