After the success of the Moodlemoot in Ireland the last two years, we are delighted to confirm that next April 2014 we will be holding a Moodlemoot in Edinburgh in partnership with Edinburgh Napier University.
We invite you to join us and other members of the Moodle community for 3 days in Edinburgh, Scotland on Apr 14-Apr 16th 2014.
We have been working on building a broad group of Moodlers from the Ireland, UK and Europe for the programme committee and they have started working on shaping the call for proposals.
Although the call for presentations will be opened in August, we can confirm two presenters so far – Martin Dougiamas, founder of Moodle, who will be on-site in Edinburgh for the Moot and Hackfest and Doug Belshaw, Badges & Skills Lead from the Mozilla Foundation who will lead a workshop on Badge Strategies. More details on these later.
The Moot schedule will be held at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange and will include the following:
- April 14th – Pre-Conference Training Workshops
- April 15th – Moodlemoot Day 1 + Gala Dinner
- April 16th – Moodlemoot Day 2
As with this 2013 Dublin Moot, we will also have a developer only hackfest after the Main Moot. This will be held at The Roxburghe hotel in the city centre.
- April 17th – a Developer only Hackfest
We will be updating the site frequently with more information including call for proposals, registration information and attendance details so please follow the RSS feed.
