Features of BigBlueButton in Moodle 4.0 core (Jesus Federico)

This presentation will cover how BigBlueButton now works inside Moodle itself! It will review how some features have changed, the structure of the application, and the foundation on which to build future features. We welcome anyone using BigBlueButton in Moodle to attend and give us feedback on our road map ahead.

Applying Pedagogy Ge BigBlueButton (Fred Dixon)

Unlike a video conferencing system, BigBlueButton is a virtual classroom. This presentation dives into teaching and learning theory in the virtual classroom and how BigBlueButton enables the instructor to apply this theory to deliver effective online classes. It will look at the challenges teachers face when teaching online (both in a pre and post-pandemic world), and how the product has evolved to meet those challenges. We’ll be taking a lot of the upcoming road map for BigBlueButton in 2022 and welcome feedback from participants on the focus going forward.
